We are expanding our footprint in large-scale HVAC operations and are looking for a driven, dual-threat Project Manager who can both sell and flawlessly execute complex residential and commercial projects.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee and drive sales for our large-scale HVAC jobs. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients from the initial bid through final execution. You will be responsible for securing new business, conducting accurate site assessments, and managing the operational timeline and budget to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: Actively bid, negotiate, and close large-scale residential and commercial HVAC projects to drive departmental revenue.
Project Execution: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring strict adherence to approved budgets and operational timelines.
Site Assessments & Job Walks: Conduct comprehensive pre-job walks for both commercial and residential sites to accurately assess scope, identify potential obstacles, and ensure the precise materials and equipment are ordered.
Financial Management: Oversee project financials with a hyper-focus on protecting and maximizing Gross Margin across all managed jobs.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with field technicians, dispatch, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery, mitigating delays and cost overruns.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet our high standards of quality, safety, and local building codes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven track record in HVAC project management and sales, with experience in both residential and commercial sectors.
Strong ability to accurately estimate project costs, labor, and materials.
Deep technical understanding of large HVAC systems and installation requirements.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to keep multiple large-scale projects on schedule.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and effectively lead field crews.
