The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, industrial and residential electrical work and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, safety procedures/protocols and building codes. This role involves working on construction, commercial, industrial and residential sites reading blueprints and ensuring that all electrical installations and/or repairs comply with the National Electrical Code.
Responsibilities
The job duties below include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for repairs, installation of electrical systems
- Repair and install lighting and power distribution systems
- Utilize ammeters and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues
- Perform new construction and renovations
- Perform electrical safety inspections/practices
- Ensure work is done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor
- Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical work with other trades
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions
- Provide guidance on frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations/repairs when necessary
- Install Stand-by Generators
- Wire new and remodel residential projects
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Perform general electrical maintenance
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are a plus Experience with both low voltage and high voltage systems is preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and safety pro
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship. The Company participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
- $60K-$150K, plus (hourly (DOE), plus uncapped commissions)
- 40 hour week with some flexibility on start time. Overtime as necessary.
